93 Overs Cricket

To promote long form of cricket Nepal Cricket Foundation introduced 93 overs in early may 2017 in Biratnagar.

93 overs cricket format is being played in the domestic cricket in England, In this format batting first team has 50 overs and second team has 43 overs  to play and  match is played in point basis, where all three results Win, Loss and Draw is Possible. In addition, in this format, a team can declare the innings too.

The maiden match was played at Baijanathpur Cricket Ground, where Biratnagar Red Captained by Firdosh Ansari played with Biratnagar Red Captained by Siddhant Lohani. Biratnagar Red won the match by 7 wickets.

Nepal Cricket Foundation plans to organize tournaments in this format in coming years.
